Eduardo is a Managing Partner of Victory Hill Capital Advisors LLP and oversees Origination & Portfolio Management within the Investment Team.
Prior to Victory Hill, Eduardo built and was responsible for Mizuho Bank’s Natural Resources Corporate Finance Advisory Unit of which he was acting Head for EMEA. In this role, Eduardo lead and facilitated the origination of corporate bond issuance mandates for investment gradeEnergy and Natural Resources (Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Mining), positioning Mizuho at top league table positions in the sector. He also significantly contributed to growing the bank’s loan portfolio and profitability through origination initiatives aimed at bringing on new clients and through efforts to develop existing relationships further.
Eduardo was one of the founding principals of Mizuho's Energy Special Situations Group, which engaged with middle-market developers on projects that were supported by Mizuho's core banking clients.
Prior to this, he was a senior member of the team responsible for building the M&A Advisory in Chemicals and Oil & Gas at Société Générale. Within 3 years, the team was fully operational and growing. Eduardo led and helped execute large landmark transactions with key clients of the bank, such as Total, Sinopec and BP. Eduardo also worked at ABN AMRO/RBS in its M&A and Capital Structure Advisory Teams in Sao Paulo and London.
At ABN AMROthe team achieved top league table position in Brazil in M&A advisory, while globally, ABN AMRO was one of the leading investment banks in the Energy and Natural resources sector. He began his banking career at JP Morgan in Sao Paulo, Brazil, working in credit portfolio management and origination teams within the investment bank.
Eduardo holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation FGV (BR) and a Masters in Finance from London Business School (UK).
Richard is a Managing Partner of Victory Hill Capital Advisors LLP and oversees Origination & Portfolio Management within the Investment Team.
He has over to 26 years of experience in Energy and Natural Resource banking, principally in project, corporate and structured finance. He was formerly Global Head of Energy Origination at Mizuho Bank in London. During this time, he drove the transformation of a traditionally balance sheet-led energy coverage business of the bank into an advisory-focused coverage model, involving public and private capital raising and securitization opportunities across the energy value chain. He has been responsible for the origination of Active Bookrunner mandates for around US$15bn in fixed income debt issuances for energy clients.
Richard has 18 years of deal-making experience in energy structured finance as advisor and arranger of financings across the energy value chain in Europe, Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. He has a deep understanding of the energy sector having acted as advisor and debt arranger of some of the most notable non-recourse and limited-recourse transactions in the energy sector, involving global energy companies such as BP, Shell, Petronas, and Saudi-Aramco.

Before Mizuho, Richard worked in the Global Energy Structured Finance Group at WestLB Markets in London, where he led deal execution on advisory and debt arranging assignments on downstream, petrochemicals, and renewables projects across Europe. Richard began his career at Standard Chartered Bank based in Kuala Lumpur and London, where he spent 7 years focused on emerging markets coverage and the financing of power and infrastructure projects in the Far East, South Asia and Africa.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science (UK).
Lawrence is the firm’s General Counsel and Compliance Officer. Prior to Victory Hill, Lawrence was an Executive Director in the Legal Department of Mizuho (Securities) International in London. His responsibilities were to provide advice across primary EU/US debt, equity capital markets, structured finance, asset finance and derivatives, as well as handling corporate legal affairs (including IP/IT, privacy, employment and litigation/regulatory and compliance matters).
From 2012 to August 2020, he also acted as General Counsel to Asset Management One International, the asset management arm of the Mizuho Financial Group. Prior to Mizuho, he worked at Foreign & Colonial (F&C), Henderson and the UK Financial Services Authority (now the Financial Conduct Authority). Prior to working at financial firms, Lawrence worked in private practice for Fladgate Fielder in London, advising clients on M&A/corporate finance transactions.
He started his career as a lawyer at the New Zealand Securities Commission. Lawrence holds an LLB from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand and an MBA from Imperial College London.
Lawrence is admitted to practise in England and Wales, New York and New Zealand* (*does not currently practice in NZ).
Mike is a Managing Partner of Victory Hill Capital Advisors LLP. He is responsible for business strategy, group financial management as well as operation and business risk management.
Prior to Victory Hill, he was responsible for the global portfolio and debt restructuring of Steinhoff International, a global vertically integrated retail conglomerate with 40 operations in 30 different countries. Michael became caretaker group treasurer overseeing international assets during Steinhoff’s restructuring, which was the largest in Europe.
Before the restructuring, he led the M&A department of the organization globally. During his tenure he originated and executed joint-venture transactions, acquisitions, take private deals, equity placements, convertible bonds, DCM and syndicated loans and IPOs.
Before Steinhoff International, Michael worked in the M&A department at Lehman Brothers and Nomura in London, and began his career as an International Tax advisor and Auditor at KPMG in South Africa.
Michael holds a degree in Accounting from Stellenbosch University, a Masters degree in International Taxation from the University of Johannesburg and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
He has also undertaken executive education courses at Harvard and Columbia Universities.
He is a Chartered Accountant in the UK and South Africa and is a CFA charterholder and Member of the UK CFA Society.
Navin is a Partner of Victory Hill Capital Advisors LLP. He is responsible for developing growth strategies and plans, as well as managing client acquisition and relationships at all levels.
Prior to Victory Hill, Navin worked within the Investment Trust Sales Team at Cantor Fitzgerald where was responsible for raising capital in both primary and secondary markets, sales trading, facing-off to listed company boards as well as other corporate broking activities.
Prior to Cantor Fitzgerald, he worked for Quilter Cheviot a UK investment management firm where he was responsible for research and portfolio management in third party fund investments across a number of sectors including infrastructure and renewable energy funds as well as private equity and listed equity funds. Navin was the top performing analyst in the firm, and featured in the UK’s Top 100 Fund Analysts for 5 consecutive years, 2013-2017.
Prior to this, he has held similar investment roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Russell Investments and began his career at Deutsche Bank.
He holds an MSc in Investment Management from City University’s Cass Business School and a BEng (Hons) in Computer Systems Engineering from City University, London (UK).
He also holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a member of the UK CFA Society.
Eleanor joined Victory Hill Capital Advisors as the Head of Sustainability and is responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s sustainability strategy as well as environmental, social and governance reporting and engagement.
Prior to Victory Hill, Eleanor led on corporate responsibility and sustainability (CRS) at British Aerospace & Defence firm Cobham Plc, where she was responsible for developing corporate policy and strategy on issues such as carbon reduction, environmental impact management, anti-slavery, diversity & inclusion, and gender pay gap reduction. She was secretary of the Executive CRS committee, chaired by the CFO and was responsible for CRS non-financial disclosures. She was awarded the CEO prize for her successful work on CDP reporting and was mentioned in Assent Compliance’s Top 100 Human Trafficking & Slavery Influence Leaders list in 2017 for her contribution to the Social Responsibility Alliance’s Anti-Slavery and Trafficking risk template development team.
Prior to Cobham, she worked at US oil and gas company, Marathon Oil, as a risk advisor in the corporate responsibility team with responsibility for identification and mitigation of environmental and social risk for new and established assets as well as implementing strategy on the voluntary principles on security and human rights across the business.
Prior to this Eleanor project managed the social responsibility working group at IPIECA, the global oil and gas industry’s association for advancing social and environmental performance.
Eleanor holds an MSc in Sustainable Development (Environmental Management) jointly awarded by Imperial College London and SOAS University of London (UK) and holds a BSc in Biological Sciences (Genetics) from the University of Edinburgh.
Eleanor is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability (ICRS).
Norman is a finance professional with more than 9 years of experience in developing, structuring and financing renewable energy, social and environmental infrastructure projects across multiple technologies and jurisdictions around the world.
Norman joins Victory Hill from Blackstone’s fully-owned energy and infrastructure platform which was mandated to develop, construct and acquire assets across both the MENA region and South Asia. Prior to this, he was a Senior Infrastructure and Financing Executive at the North American Development Bank (NADB), a US and Mexico backed Development Financial Institution participating in the placement of an infrastructure and renewable energy project portfolio worth over $500m. Norman started his career working at Nacional Financiera in Mexico City before his experience and expertise took him to San Antonio, Texas, US.
Norman holds an MSc in Finance from London Business School and a B.A. in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
Marc is an Associate in the Investment Team at Victory Hill. His responsibilities span across transaction planning, execution, and management, as well as investment structuring across both infrastructure and private equity strategies.
Marc is an investment professional with 8 years of experience working for Big Four accounting firms. Prior to Victory Hill, Marc worked for KPMG’s valuations practice in New York and in Washington DC, where he became an expert in complex M&A transactions representing both buy and sell side mandates.
His experience has crossed a number of sectors including energy, working with both middle market and Fortune 500 companies. Marc began his career at Ernst Young in the Corporate Audit department in Beirut. Marc holds an MBA from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, an MSc in Finance from The George Washington University in Washington DC, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentration in Finance from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon.
Mayuko is an investment professional with over 8 years of experience in developing, structuring, and managing energy infrastructure investments across multiple technologies.
At Victory Hill, her responsibilities range from transaction planning, execution and management as well as investment structuring across both infrastructure and private equity strategies.
Before joining Victory Hill, Mayuko worked at Mitsui Co, Ltd the global trading and investments firm in their Tokyo and Singapore offices, where she focused on a broad scope of renewable and conventional energy infrastructure project investments across the Asia Pacific region. Mayuko holds a Bachelor of Law from Hitotsubashi University in Japan, and an MBA from the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
Raluca is an Associate Vice President in the Investment Analytics Team at Victory Hill and is responsible for supporting the firm with data extraction from various sources, optimization of processes around data collection, validation and analysis and data visualisation.
Before joining Victory Hill, Raluca worked at JPMorgan Asset Management as an Investment Risk Analyst, where she monitored portfolio risk metrics, performed market analyses and was involved with regulatory risk reporting.
Raluca holds a BA in Economics from University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Economics with concentrations in Actuarial Science and Social Impact and Responsibility from Wharton Business School. She has also completed a MSc in Environmental Data Science and Machine Learning at Imperial College London, where she worked on geospatial and climate related projects, while using data science, machine learning and deep learning knowledge. She has also passed the CFA Level I exam.
Finn is an Associate Vice President in the Finance team at Victory Hill supporting the business strategy and group financial management within Victory Hill.
Finn began his career working at PwC within the external audit department, working on a mixture of general and life insurance engagements. In 2020 Finn joined PwC in the Cayman Islands furthering his time in external audit but within the funds audit department.
Upon returning to the UK, Finn joined a multi-boutique asset manager as a Senior Accountant working in a broader commercial finance role.
Finn holds a BSc in Accountancy from the University of Nottingham and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Lina is an Associate Vice President at Victory Hill Capital Partners LLP and is responsible for managing clients acquisition and relationships.
She has over 6 years of professional experience in financial services and investment banking. Prior to joining Victory Hill, Lina was an associate in Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley, responsible for raising debt for Sovereigns, Supranationals and Agencies. Lina also worked at both Commerzbank in London and Natixis in Paris in the Debt Capital Markets team.
Lina holds an MSc in Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School and a degree in Economics and Management from University Paris Dauphine. Lina also holds a professional diploma from the Regional Conservatory of Paris in Piano.
Joseph is an Associate in the Investment Analytics team at Victory Hill Capital Partners LLP and is responsible for supporting the firm in its development and implementation of innovative data infrastructure, analytics and data science solutions.
Joseph holds a BSc in Neuroscience and an MSc in Economics and Data Science from the University of Nottingham. He has a number of years’ experience working in a variety of sectors developing all aspects of the business’s data science practices, most recently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Bally’s Interactive where he focused on developing novel Machine Learning solutions.
Sarah is a Compliance Associate in the Legal and Compliance Team at Victory Hill Capital Partners LLP and is responsible for monitoring the Firm’s investment activities and implementing and overseeing the Firm’s regulatory obligations and controls environment.
Sarah holds a BSc in Law from the Technological University of Dublin and an LL.M in International Banking Law and Finance from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to joining the Victory Hill team, she worked for several years in both Edinburgh and London across Compliance and Operational roles creating and implementing Compliance infrastructures. Sarah joins Victory Hill from a boutique AIFM and regulatory host based in London where she provided compliance consulting and legal assistance.
Caroline is an Associate in the Finance team at Victory Hill Capital Partners LLP and is responsible for supporting firm-wide strategic initiatives and oversight programs in areas including finance, risk management, investment, and sustainability. Caroline has worked in financial services for over 6 years. Before joining Victory Hill, Caroline worked at UBS Investment Management Canada Inc. and Deloitte Canada within business and risk functions. She has also worked at Manulife, Sun Life Financial, and Bank of Montreal Canada office in various co-operative internships as part of her bachelor’s degree.
Caroline holds a MSc in Finance from London Business School and a BSc in Mathematics – Financial Analysis and Risk Management from University of Waterloo. She is a certified FRM and has passed the CFA Level II exam.
